We had a great Lenten season. Now we are ready to try a few different things.
2nd Friday of each month we will have a Golumpki (cabbage rolls) Special along with our standard menu.
4th Friday of each month we will have a Polish Beer Batter Special along with our standard fried perch, baked cod and standard menu
EVERY Thursday night the bar is open and we hope shortly to start a game night each Thursday. Currently we have pool and darts and want to add cards and food. What type of cards do “YOU” like to play?
Our Friday Fish Fry has definitely kicked into high gear. We can hardly keep the pierogi in the frying pan. Come get yours. But remember, we have a fish fry EVERY Friday.

Did you miss out on our Cabbage rolls or do you call them Golabki, Golumpki, Stuffed Cabbages or Pigs in the Blanket? We made 25% more for this year’s festival but still ran out.
I am excited to say we are having them as a dinner special during our Friday Fish Fry on the 2nd Friday of December, January and February. So come this Friday to get yours.
Our volunteers will be in the stores getting all those deals, so we will not be open for the fish fry on Black Friday. But check us out all other Fridays especially December 8th for our Golumpki special. We sold out of our Golumpki (Cabbage rolls) during our Polish Festival, so we will have a Golumpki special the 2nd Friday in December, January and February. Then lent starts and that means no Golumpki on Fridays.
Club members be sure to check out the NEW Members Page to keep up on what is happening at the club. December is a fun, busy month.
We made 35% more Gołąbki, or Golumpki or to most of us, cabbage rolls and we still ran out. But we had plenty of Pierogi and Kielbasa. Thanks to all who attended and special thanks to all who volunteered. As with any event we learned a few things to make next year even better. New this year were the Polish beer flights where you could select 4 of the 7 Polish beers. That is a definite keeper for next year.
Before the festival started, Fr. Andrew Panek from Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Cleveland lead a blessing in Polish for the festival, the volunteers and the food. Our prayers were answered and we had a full house. We had to add tables in the pool table room and on the dance floor. But we did have some dedicated polka dancers that toughed out the small space.
The parking lot was full and cars used the grassy area and neighboring business lots for parking. Thank you to Kane sign’s for your use of your lot. Basia brought Polish candies for each table along with educational tid-bits about our Polish heritage.
Check out some photos from the event.
For a limited time, you can purchase on Friday evenings a dozen frozen cheesy potato pierogies for only $10.
Despite the heat and the Rubber Ducks loosing, 28 of us enjoyed a fun Sunday at the Rubber Ducks ballgame.
The PAC and PRCU are hosting a Polish Spaghetti Dinner at the PAC on August 21 from 5PM to 8PM. Get your tickets early at the PAC bar during any Friday Fish Fry.
